Christensen Farms owns four feed mills manages 145000 sows on 44 farms and oversees more than 350 nurseries and growfinish sites. The company is vertically integrated with a strong presence across the pork value chain from farm to fork. Christensen Farms is the largest shareholder of Triumph Foods LLC a producerowned primary pork processing plant in St. Joseph Missouri. In turn Triumph Foods members own 50 percent of Dailys Premium Meats a specialty pork processor of bacon and other premium pork products. Triumph Foods also holds a 50 percent partnership in Seaboard Triumph Foods LLC of Sioux City Iowa a primary pork processing plant.
Position Overview & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe accurate and timely delivery of feed to the appropriate sites.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Responsible for the safe accurate and timely delivery of feed to sow nursery finish or wean to finish site as designated on the daily truck schedules.
- Responsible for driving with the standards set by management:
- Follow all highway regulations (i.e. speed limits yields stops no passing zones etc.)
- Drive at 510 mph below the posted speed limits in all towns.
- No jake braking in town.
- Always drive with headlights on.
- Always wear seatbelts.
- No riders/passengers unless it is a CFF employee and has been authorized.
- Be courteous on the road.
- Respect the producers properties.
- Respect the equipment/trucks.
- Responsible for having scheduled hours covered each week.
- Safe and courteous driving at all times.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Respectful of Company & Contract Partners Property.
- Be alert attentive and fit for operation of equipment loading and unloading of equipment and working within and around company and customer facilities.
- Conduct yourself with honesty and integrity at all times.
Vehicle Care and Maintenance:
- Responsible for washing trucks as scheduled and maintaining clean vehicles.
- Responsible for completing a vehicle inspection prior to operating any equipment and reporting any repairs needing to be made to the Manager. (see checklist)
- Responsible for the care and inventory of all tools and equipment assigned to the driving unit.
Other/Miscellaneous:
- Assist in other areas of the mill if needed/requested. Areas may include: mill ops maintenance truck shop/wash etc.
- Responsible for repairing minor damages to the feed bins.
- Responsible for keeping accurate easytoread records including log books feed delivered to producers trip reports vehicle inspection sheet etc.
- Help maintain cleanliness neatness and safety of work area and building.
- Responsible for safekeeping of valuable goods in transit.
- Trained in HACCP as provided by Companys HACCP Coordinator.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Possession and maintenance of a valid commercial drivers license according to the regulations prescribed by the federal DOT and the state of Minnesota.
- Must be able to successfully meet all requirements outlined for federal DOT qualifications to include passage of a physical examination satisfactory driving record and reference check; passage of drug/alcohol testing and all other requirements laid out in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation.
Education Training and Experience Requirements:
- Position contingent on meeting all Motor Vehicle and CF Insurer requirements and possess a desirable driving record. Class A CDL required. Ability to understand and follow driving instructions and road maps.
