Your Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and resultsoriented Head of Media Buying to take direct ownership of our media buying strategy execution ad operations and campaign analysis. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for acquiring new clients across diverse verticals understanding their needs developing and implementing effective media buying strategies managing ad operations analyzing campaign performance and maintaining strong daytoday communication with clients. You will leverage an external vendor (within the same group) for design and IT infrastructure support allowing you to focus on driving exceptional campaign results and achieving ambitious growth targets. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales you will play a crucial role in shaping the companys longterm strategy and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Needs Analysis: Deeply understand the business objectives target audiences and performance expectations of new clients. Translate these needs into clear requirements for media buying strategies.
- Strategic Media Buying Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive media buying strategies tailored to individual client needs and objectives leveraging your deep understanding of the online advertising landscape.
- Direct Media Buying & Negotiation: Take a handson approach to media buying including identifying relevant traffic sources negotiating deals and optimizing campaigns for maximum performance.
- Ad Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of ad operations including campaign setup trafficking tracking implementation and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient campaign execution.
- Campaign Analysis & Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance data identifying key trends areas for improvement and opportunities to optimize for better results and higher ROAS.
- Client Communication & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients maintaining consistent and proactive daytoday communication regarding campaign performance results new budget proposals and strategic recommendations. Build strong longlasting relationships based on trust and mutual success.
- Vendor Management (Design & IT Infrastructure): Effectively manage the relationship with the external vendor ensuring timely and highquality delivery of design assets and reliable IT infrastructure support for media buying activities.
- Financial Oversight & Reporting: Manage client budgets effectively ensuring optimal allocation and maximizing ROI. Provide regular performance reports to clients highlighting key achievements and areas for optimization. Maintain a strong understanding of P&Ls related to client accounts.
- Market Intelligence & Vertical Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of different advertising verticals identifying trends and opportunities for new client acquisition and tailored strategies.
What Youll Bring:
- Extensive Media Buying Experience: Minimum of 5 years of handson experience in planning executing and optimizing media buying campaigns across various platforms and formats.
- Strong Ad Operations Knowledge: Deep understanding of ad operations processes including campaign setup trafficking tracking and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze campaign performance data identify key insights and make datadriven decisions to improve results.
