With operations extending across the Eastern Cape KwaZuluNatal and Gauteng this company is known for delivering innovative highquality engineering services tailored to a variety of industry sectors.
As the Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth strengthening client relationships and expanding market presence across South Africa.
Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and new business opportunities.
Manage and update CRM systems to ensure accurate customer data and engagement tracking.
Implement business development strategies aligned with marketing and corporate goals.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and proactively secure Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
Convert highpriority tenders into confirmed sales through strategic bid management and client followup.
Coordinate marketing material development and contribute to brand positioning efforts.
Ensure effective internal communication and regular reporting to company directors.
Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media and digital publications.
Travel as necessary to meet clients attend industry events and support sales efforts.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering Business or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and marketing experience within the engineering sector.
Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
Excellent communication persuasion and negotiation skills.
Resilient adaptable and goaldriven with a customercentric mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
