Job Description
About the Department
The Department of Commerce aims to make sure Montana is the best place to work live and play. We work alongside private industry and local organizations to create jobs grow businesses develop affordable housing and improve community infrastructure.
About this Position
Additionally the DAC assists with web and multimedia design requests as needed to and special projects as required by the Department at the direction of the Digital Media Director.
This position is open until filled with a first application review date of May 19 2025.

Education and Experience
- A bachelors degree in Graphic Design Marketing Communications or a similar field
- 2 or more years of applicable experience in digital asset management and/or web design graphic design or marketing
- Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a casebycase basis.
Competencies:
Knowledge of:
- Digital Asset Management systems
- Web design and development
- Graphic design
- Project management
- Understanding and implementing brand guidelines and standards
- AP Style guidelines
- Familiarity with promotional products for marketing and brand support initiatives
- Solid working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite software
Ability to:
- Work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Manage multiple competing priorities
- Work on projects that have multimonth timelines while managing other tasks
- Communicate effectively with internal team and external stakeholders
- Work well both independently and in a group
- Request job estimates place and track orders sign off on proofs
- **It would pique out interest in you had experience with video production**
