Nalco Water an Ecolab Company seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry leading sale Calibri (Body) s team. Youll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach youll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership youll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitivelyheld accounts to meet profit increase goals

  • Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers including plant or facility executives

  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges escalating as

  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

  • Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote longterm business relationships with Nalco Water

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance from Des Moines Iowa

  • Territory covers about a 100mile radius of the surrounding area

  • Targeted accounts are within the food & beverage industries

  • <5% overnight travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Technical sales or field sales support experience

  • Position requires a current and valid drivers license

  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Physical Requirements:

  • Drive a company vehicle as to perform job duties (preemployment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (chemical mechanical industrial) or life sciences (biology chemistry etc.)

  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience

  • Working knowledge of boilers cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $79000$118400 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as experience education training geography etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
