Position Summary:

The Manager of Service Operations and Security plans and schedules the development production and administrative of Ergotrons infrastructure computer operations. They are responsible for managing daytoday IT operations local and cloud IT infrastructure and SoftwareasaService (SaaS) solutions in Murfreesboro and for the performance of operational tools and equipment.

The candidate should have experience in a manufacturing industry/environment with administration and troubleshooting of the following technologies: VMware storage arrays storage area networks network firewalls routers switches and wireless access points Microsoft Azure Office 365 Active Directory and Windows Server. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology Operations and Security and supervises a Sr. Service Technician.

This is an in person hands on full time salaried position at Ergotrons location in Murfreesboro TN (formerly Enovate Medical).

Position Responsibilities:

Operational

  • Confers with department heads involved with proposed projects to ensure cooperation and further define nature of project.
  • Confers with computer analysts or engineers to define equipment needs.
  • Prepares reports to inform management of project status and deviation from goals.
  • Engages management specialists technical personnel or vendors to solve problems.
  • Engages with MSP/NOC/SOC for projects monthly meetings and issue resolution.
  • Maintains currency with technology and plans for future upgrades/integrations and organizational changes.
  • Plans researches designs develops validates and implements security solutions within the organizations IT network remediating areas of weakness in the network.
  • Practices disaster recovery procedures participates in breach of security drills responds to and provides postevent analyses of security incidents.
  • Promotes a culture of security awareness and arranges continuing education of personnel to ensure security policies are adhered to.

Technical

  • Administers and supports the Virtual environment including HyperV VMWare ESXI servers storage arrays and storage area networks.
  • Administers and supports LANs WANs SitetoSite VPNs firewalls VPN concentrators routers switches wireless networks and network security solutions.
  • Responsible for daytoday maintenance of development test production and disaster recovery environments including backup and log management systems monitoring and user management.
  • Supports and maintains business applications including engineering applications like Solidwords Altium etc.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP VLANs subnets DNS DHCP FTP VPN SSL WiFi SDWAN)
  • Proficient with Microsoft technologies including Windows Clients (XP to Current) Windows Server (2008 to Current) MSSQL Active Directory Group Policy Office 365 Teams and SharePoint.
  • Proven experience with onpremise and cloud hosted virtualization utilizing both HyperV and VMWare
  • Proven experience with Cisco Meraki network technologies including MX firewalls switches and access points.
  • Experience with SaaS/cloud solutions including Azure (required) AWS Google and OCI are desirable. Azure experience should include administration VMs virtual networks and public DNS.
  • Proven experience with penetration test remediation Microsoft Sentinel Defender for endpoints Intune (MDM) MFA SSL Cert Management SSO/SAML implementation and management.
  • Familiarity with security related solutions like Currentware BeyondTrust KnowBe4 Cohesity zScaler and OpenVPN is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Salesforce and Infor SyteLine is highly desirable.
  • Advanced scripting knowledge (Powershell VBSript etc) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with VoIP phone systems and Verkada security solutions is desirable.
  • Additional duties as requested.
  • Supports Lean Business Enterprise initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree in IS Engineering Computing or related field required

Proven experience in information technology security and information technology operations

5 years of previous IT infrastructure IT management IT business operations and/or IT security

7 years of relevant professional industry experience

Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is nice to have.

Ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job as described to you for the position
