Marketing Officer
Full time permanent 37.5 hours per week
Appointed candidate must be based in Brisbane

Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is the nations leading voice on exercise and sports science. We govern and represent over 10000 universityqualified accredited exercise professionals who support Australians to reach their health and performance goals.
At ESSA youll join a team dedicated to supporting our members and the communities they serve. Together youll have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and expertise to make a positive impact on the work of accredited exercise professionals.
What will you do:
Working across the ESSA and Exercise Right brands youll:
- Support the Marketing and Comms team with monitoring writing responses scheduling and creating posts for social media channels
- Write the content and build test and send regular eDMs
- Deliver monthly reports for social media email marketing website and media mentions
- Support the Media and Comms Specialist with media activity including identifying opportunities and sourcing media talent
- Monitor triage and manage the marketing inboxes and internal requests
- Support the marketing team with administration and other duties as required
Your competitive edge will include:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications and min12 years professional experience
- Proficient in managing monitoring and administering social media
- Demonstrated experience in email marketing
- Strong time management project management and organisation skills
- Positive mindset and ability to problem solve and contribute proactively
- A willingness to learn take on new challenges and work as part of a talented team to get the job done
- Experience with content creation and basic design skills (highly desirable)
