Job Description

Position Overview

Responsible for the operation of paratransit vehicles to carry vulnerable passengers to various destinations within the service area in a safe timely and professional manner. Paratransit operators provide critical services to the community supporting the mission to enhance quality of life bolster mobility and create opportunities through transit.

Compensation

Starting wage is $22.53 per hour moving to $23.94 per hour after successful completion of the 180day probationary period. Paratransit operators receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to $29.29 (wage scale) and annual cost of living increases.

A high school diploma/GED and WA drivers license or ability to obtain.

Summary of Working Conditions

This is a safetysensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CTS policy and federal regulations. Represented by the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 587.
