We are seeking a handson Manager to lead our Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps team. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to drive our cloud infrastructure operations automation initiatives and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both architecting highlevel solutions and rolling up their sleeves to implement and troubleshoot when needed
Howyou can make an impact:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of DevOps engineers and cloud specialists
- Directly manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP including architecting solutions and implementing best practices
- Drive the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability
- Lead incident response for critical production issues participating in oncall rotations as needed
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability standards
- Implement and maintain infrastructureascode using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi
- Establish monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure visibility into system health and performance
- Develop and enforce security best practices across our cloud infrastructure
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our operations
- Manage and maintain access controls to software development infrastructure including Jira Tailscale Github NewRelic etc.
Qualifications
Bring your passion heres whats needed:
- 5 years of handson experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS
- 3 years of experience leading DevOps and SRE teams
- Strong proficiency with infrastructureascode tools (Terraform CloudFormation etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes ECS)
- Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions CircleCI etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK stack etc.)
- Strong scripting skills (Python Bash PowerShell)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
