This position functions as the specialist and subject matter expert within the Managed Care Plan Division (MCPD) overseeing the design implementation and compliance of communitybased initiatives within the Comprehensive Health Care Program (CHCP) and Healthy Kids Dental (HKD) contracts including managing contractual requirements ensuring adherence to program obligations and providing oversight of contracted Managed Care Entities (MCE) to align initiatives with state and federal standards. This also includes serving as the primary MCPD liaison contributing to collaborative discussions to ensure CHCP/HKD communitybased initiatives are effectively integrated and aligned with division administration and departmental priorities. Utilizing project management principles to support the oversight of community related initiatives in the CHCP contract ensuring the scope of evaluation strategies are consistent with the goals of the program and aligned with terms and conditions established by federal authorities.This position is responsible for Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on communitybased initiatives such as In Lieu of Services (ILOS) and Community Reinvestment to internal and external partners. Developing and providing guidance and support directly to the Medicaid Health Plans and community partners as needed. Analyzing any required reporting submissions by the MHPs and working through any relevant updates and guidance related to the reports. Conducting research related to federal rules and guidance for communitybased initiatives and how they may impact the CHCP and HKD programs. Communicating and participating in workgroups with other states to discuss challenges barriers and best practices related to these changes. Develop any related tools templates communications and relevant contract language related to communitybased initiatives and requirements.

Four years of professional experience including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.Additional Requirements and Information
The physical location of this position is 400 S. Pine Street with remote options available. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:
- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A highspeed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
