Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary: 32700
Fulltime 45 hours per week
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team! As a Deputy Nursery Manager you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daytoday operations of the nursery ensuring high quality care and education for young children.
What Were Looking
- Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting with proven leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of child development and early years curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of and commitment to promoting diversity equality and inclusion
Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in managing the nursery team and overseeing daily operations
- Ensure a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for children
- Support staff in planning and delivering ageappropriate activities and experiences
- Develop positive relationships with families and engage them in their childrens learning and development
- Implement and maintain nursery policies and procedures
- Contribute to staff training and development
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene and safety
