Job Description
Federated Cooperatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician Reconciliations on a permanent basis for our Retail Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity andis based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.

What youll do:
- Prepare timely and accurate general ledger and subledger reconciliations in accordance with established deadlines.
- Prepare journal entries and year end working paper files.
- Draft clear and professional communications to local Coops regarding reconciliation details and followups.
- Maintain organized departmental files and perform regular bank account reconciliations.
- Other duties as required.
Who youll work with:
You will work closely with other Accounting Technicians who focus on reconciliations and will be part of a larger accounting team.Youwill report into the Supervisor Business Accounting and will interact with professionals across the Cooperative Retailing System. Members of this team can exercise independence when troubleshooting and working directly with customers to address accounting discrepancies.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have a high school diploma and one introductory accounting course from an accredited postsecondary institution. Individuals who have a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
