The Vice President (VP) Surgical Specialties Product Line
- With the Physician Executive dyad partner will continually assesses the business the industry and the organization enabling the product line to respond with great agility speed and creativity to become the product line of choice in the market.
- Plans organizes and directs all strategic & business development related functions and activities (internal and external).
- Leads The Way We Improve process to reduce unnecessary clinical and operational variation and to improve quality.
- Identifies opportunities for success in valuebased care.
- Drives growth within the product line.
- With the Physician Executive dyad partner collaborates with operational leaders across the care continuum operational lead Medical Directors and other senior leaders to establish goals objectives and standards of performance and facilitates implementation of quality improvements into operations.
- Has overall responsibility for aligning and facilitating strategy for the product line within the context of the Network strategic planning cycle including the development and implementation of plans emphasizing clinical excellence consistently exceptional customer experiences and profitable growth.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should have experience collaborating within a physician dyad partnership be able to collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward problemsolving. Applicants should also have:
- A Bachelors degree (required) Masters degree preferred.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience working with surgeons and the operations that support them across the care continuum with at least 5 of those years in orthopedic product line leadership.
- Multisite experience preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking; willing to challenge conventional thinking seek out new technologies and emphasize consumerism.
- Highlevel knowledge of valuebased care and population health principles.
- Experience practicing effective delegation by setting clear goals and expectations and continuous coaching and development of the leadership team.
- Experience with new innovative care models.
- The ability to successfully lead implementation of strategies and drive results to meet product line and Network goals.
