Hampton Lumber is a familyowned wood products company headquartered in Portland Oregon. With over 1700 employees we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon Washington and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. This person will have communications with both internal and external customers. They must display a high level of professionalism be motivated selfstarter and have the ability to work unsupervised at times. This person will learn all shipping duties and will be the backup for the Shipping Coordinator.
This positions primary responsibility is to assist the Shipping Coordinator with duties including but not be limited to assisting shipping personnel in truck loading and unloading of all inbound and outbound trucks in a safe and efficient manner complete required paperwork and record transfers in the computer. In addition this person will be the Shipping Coordinators vacation and relief person.
Hours for shift will be dertmined upon hire date and are subject to change.
Work schedule; MondayFriday 8:30am5:00pm.
Wage is $30.47 an hour ($63377 annually)
