Our new Design & Build Business Unit is a dedicated team focused on delivering complete integrated infrastructure solutions from initial concept through to operational handover. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of infrastructure delivery from the ground up.

What impact you will have

We are looking for an experienced and forwardthinking Construction Manager to manage datacenter design and build projects within Submers growing Design & Build Business Unit. Based in Barcelona youll manage the endtoend construction lifecycle for innovative sustainable and highly efficient datacenter environment. This is a key role where technical expertise meets ontheground execution. Youll help shape the physical infrastructure of nextgeneration datacenters across Europe and beyond.

What youll do

• Lead the planning coordination and onsite management of datacenter construction projects from concept through commissioning and client handover.
• Supervise contractors vendors and project teams to ensure highperformance delivery aligned with scope time cost and quality targets.
• Integrate Submers immersion cooling technology into all aspects of facility planning layout and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design product and engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and innovation adoption.
• Manage budgets procurement timelines logistics and installation of cooling and IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations health and safety standards and environmental certifications.
• Represent Submer with clients consultants and suppliers during key project phases and site visits.

What youll need

• Degree in Construction Management Civil/Mechanical Engineering Architecture or a related field.
• 10 years experience managing complex construction projectspreferably datacenters critical facilities or industrial tech builds.
• Proven ability to manage MEPheavy environments and advanced building systems.
• Knowledge of immersion cooling liquid cooling or highdensity compute environments is a strong plus.
• Strong project management skills with tools like Primavera MS Project or similar.
• Fluent in English and experienced working in a global environment.
• Ability to work across teams time zones and cultural boundaries.
