Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Finance Controller to join our dynamic finance team and play a pivotal role in managing financial operations within our NBFC structure. If youre a strategic thinker with expertise in finance management accounting and compliance within the NBFC sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting processes and prepare financial statements.
- Lead budget forecasts and variance analysis in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and liaise with auditors.
- Stay updated on industry laws and regulations.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and identify risks.
- Review financial policies for efficiency and compliance.
- Support strategic decisions with financial insights.
- Align finance with crossfunctional teams.
- Manage cash flow financial transactions and banking relationships.
- Provide strategic financial input to senior leadership.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to drive growth.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (CPA CFA etc. with 5 years of experience in finance or accounting preferably within the NBFC or financial services sector.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance accounting or controlling roles within an NBFC or financial services company.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS IFRS) tax regulations and financial reporting.
- Handson experience in financial planning budgeting forecasting and analysis.
- Familiarity with NBFC regulatory framework and RBI guidelines.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial software and tools (e.g. SAP Tally Oracle or similar).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and work across departments.
