We are hiring CNMII Bed Management to a leading hospital in DublinIreland.
PartTime 18.75 hrs per week
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities are ensuring efficient and effective use of all hospital beds through the utilisation of the Visual hospital and the Plan for Every Patient.
Have the authority to allocate patients to specific wards in accordance with Hospital Policy and bed allocation taking cognisance of infection control guidelines.
Liaise with senior nurse managers ward managers and lend support with regard to admissions and discharge policy transfer and escalation of patients to appropriate areas within the hospital.
Lend support to admissions staff at the admissions points throughout the hospital to maintain the admissions policy.
Requirements
Must have a valid NMBI Pin and be included on the general division of the NMBIs registration of nurses.
Possess at least two years of managementlevel experience and five years of postregistration experience in an acute setting. (Necessary)
Experience in enabling the efficient and successful utilization of hospital bed capacity. The capacity to evaluate document and implement practice change is desirable. (Preferred)
Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to interact with employees at all levels both inside and outside the company.
Strong IT abilities including proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and other programs.
Be vivacious driven and possess excellent leadership abilities.
