Job Description
Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a fast growing ventilation fan manufacturing company suppling industrial fan units to the mining and road tunnel sector based in the southern suburbs of Perth.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Trade Assistant to join the fastgrowing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines road and railway tunnels and metro systems.
Job Requirements and Description:
- Assist tradespeople with the assembly and installation of components and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Prepare parts and materials for assembly
- Perform manual handling and general labouring tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Report any defects or issues to the supervisor
- Previous experience in a similar role or a manufacturing/assembly environment preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Have a Forklift licence
- Be able to follow instructions
- Work in a team and independently
- Work to standards
- Be flexible and versatile in many small jobs
- Be available to work overtime if necessary
