Job DescriptionThe Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Department of Pharmaceutical Services share its philosophy of pharmaceutical care. As members of the health care team the Staff Pharmacists II share responsibility for providing high quality costeffective patient care which promotes health. This includes evaluating and managing drug regimens for appropriateness of choice; teaching patients and their caregivers how to use drugs in the safest and most effective way; helping patients and their caregivers take an active role in managing their drug therapy; and advocating for patients the safe and effective use of drugs to other health care decision makers.

- PharmD degree
- Prior sterile IV compounding experience and familiarity with USP 797/800
- Prior oncology experience (inpatient or infusion center experience)
- Completion of an ASHPaccredited PGY1 or PGY2 Oncology residency
License/CertificationActive license to practice Pharmacy in the State of California; must be in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
