Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly qualified Construction Manager for immediate placement in Austin TX. This critical role demands a professional with extensive experience and a commitment to excellence in project management and oversight.
The core responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Execute work requiring advanced independent evaluation selection adaptation and modification of standard techniques procedures and criteria.
- Serve as the primary project lead in the field overseeing and directing the construction management staff with authority and precision.
- Assume full responsibility for the supervision of field staff while providing crucial support to office personnel.
- Demonstrate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project documentation standards and exhibit exceptional coordination skills to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS 8 years or more of relatable or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- This role is subject to Background MVR and Medical Surveillance screenings
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident is required for this role
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience.
- Experience working in Environmental Remediation Projects
- Technical Writing skills.
- Experience on public works transportation projects with construction value $20M.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Experience as Resident Engineer and as Office Engineer.
- Strong understanding of industry standard processes for submittals RFIs change orders and pay applications.
- Experience writing and processing change orders.
