Endoscopy Technician Temporary Full Time Hours
Northfield Surgical Center of West Orange N.J is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in colon cancer screening and gastroenterology. Our center has been designed to provide the ultimate in medical technology and quality along with efficiency and convenience for the patient and family. Our mission is to provide a coordinated and safe delivery of care for the endoscopy patient. We strive to provide courteous and professional service to all our clients.
We are currently searching for a GI Technician for a TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION with possibility of becoming a permanent full time position. to work Monday Friday (and Saturdays as needed) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.
Major responsibilities include: cleaning procedure rooms; assisting physicians during procedures; processing scopes; sterilizing equipment; restocking and changing over rooms; performing housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies.
You must possess a HS school diploma/GED and a BLS certification.

Reprocessing scopes certification a big plus.
