Now Hiring: Plastic Injection Setup Technician
Location: Maple Grove MN
Pay: $22.94$26.64 per hour depending on experience
Shift: 1st shift MondayFriday 6:30am3:00pm
Employment Type: Full time Direct Hire
About this Opportunity:
Responsible for timely Setups of all presses and auxiliary equipment in Production. Ensure all jobs and equipment is running to Company specifications.
Machines tools equipment and electrical devices used to accomplish the job: Forklift presses tool carts hot stampers sonic welders meters and overhead crane
What Youll Be Doing:
Install molds according to company specifications
Trouble shoot and correct all molding and secondary discrepancies to ensure quality
Start and restart all presses in accordance with specifications
Ensure work area is clean and orderly at job completion
Complete documentation as required
Use 5S suggestion form for setup process or other improvements
Must understand 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts
What makes you a great fit:
Capable of learning all aspects of plastic injection molding methods processes and procedures.
Ability to solve problems when they arise.
Ability to communicate English both verbally and in writing.
Computer literacy is preferred.
Knowledge of production monitoring software is preferred.
Able to drive a forklift.
