Job Description
Sublevel Miner 1
Location:
East Boulder Mine McLeod MT
Schedule:
Rotating 5x4x4x5
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs heading prep blasting and mucking duties. Determines the amount of explosives placement and firing of explosives.
- Operates underground equipment (loaders trucks etc).
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act.
- Working knowledge of utilities services and ventilation.
- Must have long hole drilling experience.
- Must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 1.
Preferred:
- Mine Equipment and materials terminology and uses.
