Responsible for a variety of Foundation projects including but not limited to support of organizational development initiatives social determinates of health and Foundation initiatives. Accountable for ensuring project activities are on schedule on budget implemented seamlessly while adequately following through and maintaining sustainability for each project.
This position will work at our Modesto Administration Office. Schedule is Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm.
Compensation: $25.87 $27.16 an hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Development Department in the coordination of tracking grant deliverables maintaining meeting calendars data entry and communication with other departments.
- Coordinates the Foundations social determinates of health projects such as the Food Pharmacy and Care Fund.
- Oversees the daily operations of the Food Pharmacy including food procurement deliveries staffing training weekly food distribution volunteers ordering supplies tracking data reports outreach and developing new Food Pharmacy sites.
- Assist Foundation Executive Director and Foundation Manager with special events of the Foundation.
- Arrange and mange meetings for the Foundation ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external partners.
- Assist the Foundation in donor stewardship appreciation communication and followup.
- Assist and coordinate with annual employee giving campaign Culture of Giving.
- Assist in the coordination for Employee Scholarship Programs.
- Provides clear and timely communication and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documents procedures/workflows regarding project implementation activities.
- Assists with and actively participate in data gathering and analysis to develop and inform action plans.
- Responsible for formal presentations to various audiences and establishing professional business relationships with all levels of organizational staff.
- Works and supports the development of processes that maximize Foundation staff competencies to ensure improved programs quality and cost effectiveness.
- Demonstrates understanding and commitment to the mission of the health center and Golden Valley as a whole.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels) on rare occasions. Lifting greater than 25 pounds should be done with assistance.
- Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served inperson and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.
- Must have vision with or without lenses that is adequate to read memos a computer screen personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.
- Must have high manual dexterity.
- Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work must be able to bend squat and sit stand stoop crouching reaching kneeling twisting/turning fingering and feeling.
Work Environment
The physical environment requires the employee to work indoors primarily in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Use of general office equipment is required on a daily basis. Will work weekly at clinic sites to implement the Food Pharmacy. Travel may be required at times.
Education/Experience Desired

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates degree in Business Administration Nonprofit Management Public Health or a related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in nonprofit administration healthcare support event coordination or related field.
