Description


This is apromotional/open opportunity which means that current monthlysalaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.For a promotional/open posting the top ten internal applicants will be provided unless there is an insufficient number and then the list will be supplemented with the top external applicants to make up the ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article 2 Section 9).

BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the Risk Management department by providing general administrative and clerical support.

The Risk Management Department currently has one (1) Full Time 12 month position available. This list will be used to establish an eligibility list that can be used for future vacancies. This list will be good for three (3) months and with the possibility to be extended.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school and one (I) year of clerical or customer service experience.

EXAMINATION PROCESS:
Only those candidates whose application demonstrates a combined education and experience which meets the minimum requirements for the position(s) will be considered qualified and advanced in the examination process.

All positions require qualified candidates to pass the examination process which may include one or more of the following components:

  • An application screening and evaluation based on the candidates education work history and responses to the supplemental questions. Please note that not all qualified applicants will advance to subsequent phases of the examination process.
  • A multiplechoice exam specific to the position.
Exams will be conducted remotely utilizing an online testing platform. Exam information will be communicated to candidates via email. Access to the internet and the use of a cameraready desktop/laptop with a microphone are required to participate in these processes.
