Job Description

The key to growth at NIQ is a highperforming sales team and driving efficiency and effectiveness for our sales leaders and teams is critical to success.  NIQ is seeking a talented resultsoriented leader to help build and scale local sales operations best practices enabling our mission to accelerate growth. 

The Sales Ops & Analytics Lead will play a key role in leveraging data and insights to manage sales performance.  This person will effectively analyze current and past sales trends to accurately predict future performance providing data driven insights to Commercial stakeholders that set and optimize sales strategies. The position will work closely with Revenue Operations and Sales leadership and generate the required business analytics to support strategic objectives and accelerate regional sales growth.  The right candidate will also excel at creating regular sales forecasts preparing and reviewing sales performance reports and participating in budgeting across markets. The Sales Ops & Analytics Manager must be a selfstarter with keen attention to detail who thrives deriving recommendations from complex ambiguous data sets.  To be successful this leader must be highly collaborative in nature and enjoy working in a remote multicultural environment.  

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analysis: Leverage your strong commercial knowledge and business acumen to uncover new opportunities and reveal invaluable data insights and actionable recommendations through the collection analysis and interpretation of sales and market data. Generate and maintain regular reports dashboards forecasts and executivelevel presentations for businesscritical reviews.  
  • Sales Strategy Support: Collaborate with regional Rev Ops leadership to develop and refine sales strategy recommendations. Evaluate existing commercial practices and methodologies and look for opportunities to improve and standardize through actionable analytical reports and models.  
  • Sales Tools and Technology: Advocate for CRM compliance and tool optimization to fuel more accurate reporting. Assist in implementing strategies to enhance data quality ensuring that our systems are populated with clean accurate and uptodate information. Be an expert on CRM processes and provide guidance to the sales team to maximize their effectiveness.  
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Understand and interpret companywide performance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) develop new market specific KPIs as needed. Monitor pipeline to deliver accurate forecasts analyze pipeline data to understand areas of opportunity or identify areas of concern and arm sales leaders with the data needed to address performance issues promptly. 
  • Territory and Quota Management: Assist in defining and managing sales territories and quotas. Ensure equity and alignment with local market conditions. 
  • Sales Reporting: Create deliver and optimize regular reports and insights for sales leadership and matrixed stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting to support decisionmaking processes. Manage ad hoc requests regarding reports processes and general requests for assistance promptly. 
  • White Space Analysis: Size and prioritize opportunities across existing customers and net new prospects in the region using quantifiable insights to match NIQ sellers with high propensity customer targets.  
  • Market and Competitor Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities. Provide insights to help the sales team adapt strategies and stay ahead of the local competition. 

Qualifications :

Key attributes: 

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years proven experience in a sales operations sales strategy or finance business partner role; preferably within a B2B tech organization.  
  • Ability to break down challenging technical concepts and distill them into simple business language 
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills combined with the ability to formulate insights present a compelling case for action and deliver expert advice and recommendations 
  • Selfstarter with superb communication skills leadership presence and ability to effectively interact with Clevel executives 
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands in a fastpaced environment; operate with a high sense of urgency 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce and a business intelligence platform (Power BI preferred)
