This position requires a high level of expertise and experience in child welfare and social work. Your responsibilities will involve conducting onsite surveys and evaluations of both public and private children and youth agencies analyzing data and allegations of child abuse and ensuring that children in outofhome placements are protected. Additionally you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating programs contracts and financial reports as well as providing advice and consultation to ensure that state standards are being met. This role is crucial in promoting the wellbeing and safety of children and youth in our community. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
In this role you will work with various interest groups to improve services to clients and provide education consultation on the children youth and families programs supported by the department. You will be involved in developing recommendations for policy revisions implementing departmental policies and evaluating program goals. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and coordinating efforts with other county agencies for statewide initiatives. Additionally you may be involved in implementing court ordered class lawsuits that affect public and private agencies as well as reviewing and making recommendations on submitted plans from county agencies based on the needs of the community.
