About the Position
Local boutique property development firm is seeking a Director of Property operations to oversee all property management activities (Commercial and Residential) and to lead site improvement and office efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate and property management. This position will report directly to the owner.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee regional management and local onsite managers.
- Manage tenant and property clients and contracts.
- Act as an owner representative.
- Lead and improve property profitability and efficiency.
- Create and follow fiscal budgets.
- Manage the local office of the firm.
- Prepare weekly monthly and quarterly reports.
- Other duties as assigned by owner or management team.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- Must have indepth knowledge of the East TN real estate and property management market.
- CAM or other real estate license preferred.
- Complete understanding of accounting principals related to real estate.
- **MUST HAVE** Minimum 4 year of experience in property management environment required; preferably in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook) with intermediate skills in Excel macros; ability to learn new software programs quickly is required.
- Must be highly motivated and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Demonstrates initiative and initiativebased decisionmaking skills; ability to work independently with little or no supervision; strong organizational skills.
