Job Summary:
The Lead Engineer Salesforce Development is responsible for designing developing and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. This position involves leading a team of developers and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance the functionality and efficiency of Salesforce applications within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers providing guidance and ensuring best practices are followed.
Solution Design:Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions including integrations with other enterprise systems.
Development and Customization:Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce Lightning components and other Salesforce technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Quality Assurance:Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure highquality deliverables.
Performance Optimization:Continuously optimize Salesforce applications for performance scalability and usability.
Compliance and Security:Ensure all Salesforce solutions comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce development with proven leadership experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components and Salesforce integration techniques.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.

Soft Skills:
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Salesforce Certified Administrator).
Experience in Agile development methodologies.

Influences the organisation customers suppliers partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism. Able to make decisions which impact the success of assigned work i.e. results deadlines and budget and creates and supports collaborative ways of working across group/area of responsibility.
