TheCatholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools 40 elementary and6 high schools. ABOUT
Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives through the celebration of the Mass prayer and liturgical celebrations. Together with the support of parents and our parish community our educators and support staff are committed to providing a Catholic learning environment where children may grow as unique individuals and develop spiritually physically intellectually and socially to become caring members of society. JOB DESCRIPTION
Corpus Christi School is seeking a grade 4 teacher. This position will be short term with the opportunity for a continuing position.
We invite applicants to join our Christian community who:
Can work collaboratively with colleagues develop positive relationships with students that instill a sense of belonging and connection.
Can nurture students cognitive social and emotional growth while empowering students to be active agents of their own learning.
Can use studentcentred inquirybased approaches to teaching learning and assessment that align with the philosophy and framework of the Grade 4 CISVA Christian Education Curriculum and the BC Ministry of Education Curriculum.
Is familiar with administering the Foundations Skills Assessment (FSA).
Has 8 or more years of teaching experience.

On an ongoing basis we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics nonCatholics new education grads and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply. Our major hiring season is in April for the following school year but we recommend that you apply now as we receive an influx of applications.
