Your mission
The Group Data Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organizations data & master data management and corresponding governance processes. This role ensures the accuracy consistency and integrity of data across the enterprise enabling effective decisionmaking and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership analytical and communication skills and have a deep understanding of data governance principles and practices. You will have a goal to own and implement the Data Strategy for the Group and ensure there is complete alignment on long term objectives mid term deliverables and priorities. Other responsobilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with the organizations goals and objectives.
- Establish data governance frameworks policies and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define data governance roles responsibilities and workflows.
- Oversee the creation maintenance and management of master data across the organization.
- Ensure the accuracy consistency and completeness of master data by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Work with IT and business teams to integrate master data management solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Develop and implement data quality metrics monitoring and reporting processes.
- Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and resolve data issues.
- Collaborate with data stewards and business users to continually improve data quality and governance practices.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to promote data governance awareness and adoption.
- Facilitate data governance councils and working groups to address data governance issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to data stewards and business users on data governance best practices and tools.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies standards and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate data governance risks to protect the organizations data assets.
- Maintain documentation of data governance processes policies and procedures.
What do you need to be successful in your mission
- Proven track record in driving data strategies governance and analytics initiatives within a complex largescale multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data governance and master data management tools and technologies.
- Strong business acumen as data should only serve one purpose and that is business success which should be your key focus and priority
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. SQL Excel Power BI).
- You are able to work in a fastpaced and quickly changing environment.
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
