Job Description

Description

Hybrid Work Environment: The successful candidate is expected to work onsite at 222 Jarvis St 3 days per week and may work remotely up to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loading activities.
  • Translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling datadriven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations.

Description

Work with project teams to develop integration in or outbound interfaces between Oracle recruitment system and Peoplesoft to meet business needs and priorities.

Analyze business needs in relation to Human Resources clients programs and service delivery requirements.

Provide clients with business systems consulting expertise on the use of information technology such as PeopleSoft to meet business goals and objectives.

Recommend systems development solutions and configuration which meet clients needs.

Provide technical expertise and advice in complex systems analysis and design.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with programming Internetready applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices.
  • Experience with middleware and gateways.
  • Experience reviewing analyzing and modifying product installation scripts including encoding testing and debugging.
  • Ability to provide postimplementation support and resolve any postimplementation technical issues.
  • Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
  • Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.
