Job Description

Sales Team Leader in Long Term Insurance Worksite Sales

Based in Claremont Cape Town

This is your chance to lead from the front launch a brandnew sales channel and make your mark in South Africas booming Insurtech space.

Were looking for a dynamic handson Retail Worksite Sales Manager to build and scale a team of highperforming sales specialists and help bring life disability and funeral cover to thousands of hardworking South Africans right where they work.

Duties:

  • Build lead and inspire a growing team of worksite sales specialists.
  • Drive expansion by opening new employer groups across Cape Town (and beyond).
  • Engage facetoface at municipal offices government departments & large employer sites.
  • Own the numbers: performance metrics team KPIs and regional growth goals.
  • Coach in the field close deals and keep sales tools (tablets/laptops) humming.
  • Partner with HR reps and key decisionmakers to secure longterm access.
  • Help shape the future of a new sales model your ideas will matter here.

Requirements:

  • 2 years in insurance sales (long or shortterm) with team leadership experience.
  • Proven success in building & managing worksite teams.
  • Cape Townbased with existing employer/worksite contacts Huge bonus.
  • RE5 and Matric (RE5 preferred but not a dealbreaker).
  • Familiar with PERSAL or stop order systems Even better.
  • Analytical mindset you dont just track numbers you act on them.
  • Techsavvy with confidence in using digital sales tools (tablet/laptop).
  • A growth mindset. Ambition. Hustle. Leadership presence.
