THE ROLE:
The IT Administrative Coordinator supports the IT department by managing administrative functions coordinating projects and ensuring effective communication across teams. This role enhances operational efficiency supports strategic IT initiatives and helps maintain strong vendor and internal relationships through proactive organization and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate IT schedules meetings training sessions and project timelines to ensure smooth department operations
Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory software licenses and vendor contracts to support asset management and compliance
Process purchase orders track IT budgets and prepare financial reports to support fiscal accountability
Support IT project execution by maintaining project documentation tracking milestones and coordinating crossfunctional communication
Maintain and update IT documentation including user guides system configurations and onboarding materials
Manage IT onboarding and access permissions for new employees to ensure security and system integrity
Serve as the primary point of contact for ITrelated inquiries updates and vendor communications
This is a hybrid position coming into the El Segundo office 1x/month.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Familiarity with IT systems hardware and software management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Skilled in project coordination documentation and reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills for crossfunctional collaboration
Ability to identify risks resolve issues proactively and adapt to shifting priorities
Attention to detail accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Qualifications
12 years of administrative or IT support experience preferred
Experience with project management tools and IT ticketing systems
Familiarity with IT systems processes and terminology
