What We Are Looking For
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and supporting the Executive Director Philanthropy and Executive Director SAC Health Foundation the Director Marketing and Brand Strategys primary function is managing the strategic brand roadmap as it relates to awareness marketing and brand proposition to support the growth goals of SAC Health. This includes brand advertising CRM and digital marketing brand and digital campaign measurement brand creative design and consumer market research. The Director is charged with establishing the short and longterm vision and strategy for the SAC Health brand overseeing the application of brand standards creating an internal understanding of the value of a strong brand. The Director must effectively collaborate with internal partners including the Foundation and Philanthropy to generate buyin on brand related efforts while developing a structure to ensure consistency in external brand use while maximizing the value of collective brand efforts. This includes overseeing and applying the brand strategy via brand guidelines. The primary goal of these efforts is to create a brand that prospective and current patients are attracted to and choose to engage with for their care. Additional efforts include engaging prospective and current donors for various activities including but not limited to capital campaigns food donations and funding for other mission critical assets. The Director is also charged with system branding efforts including the oversight of branding activities for mergers and acquisitions partnerships regional branding philanthropic efforts and foundation needs. This includes the development of brand strategy and implementation for these activities. The position is also responsible for continuous improvement of campaign efforts using data to measure performance and respond to shifts in patient demographics and attitudes. Brand experience activities including sponsorships brand partnerships and environmental branding are under the Directors purview. Throughout the brand promotion activities this position will also be responsible for maintaining public relationships as well as ongoing media campaigns and responses. As appropriate this position will respond to press requests and/or engage the appropriate SAC staff to respond.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES
- Incorporates SAC Healths vision missions and values in goals and programs within Marketing/Communications.
- Lead the planning creative development and execution of impactful digital/online and traditional media marketing campaigns
- Oversee the marketing team and general daytoday marketing operations while simultaneously working independently on developing future brand projects.
- Build strategic 360degree advertising strategies and omnichannel marketing campaigns that resonate with our target market aligning with our goals and projections for SAC Health as well as the Foundation and Philanthropy.
- Develops and manages operational initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Drive and maintain a cohesive social media strategy by providing guidelines for storytelling developing dynamic content increasing engagement and reaching bigger audiences on various platforms.
- Formulates objectives goals and strategies collaboratively with other stakeholders.
- Develops and manages the marketing budget to meet the needs of the department and organization.
- Ensures effective communication across the organization that delivers a consistent look and feel within the context of strategic positioning including internal and external communications as well as all forms of public relations.
- Manages the execution in all appropriate marketingmanaged channels such as digital presence mass media public relations community engagement website brand tone/voice events. Develops marketing and communications plans that result in growth and/or increased donation frequency for key market segments among donors and Foundations. This includes campaigns promotions donor incentives partnerships events and sponsorships.
- Responsible for development and management of vendor relationships that support marketing communication and public relation efforts.
- Establish strong relationships with internal or crossfunctional teams within the organization to ensure clear communication and coordination during collaborative campaigns and other marketing efforts.
- Remains current of new trends and best practices and incorporates into Marketing/Communications practices and programs.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders across the company to ensure all marketing initiatives and deliverables adhere to the branding guidelines.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing efforts to determine efficacy and makes proactive adjustments to respond to initiatives and campaigns that are not meeting targets or in response to market trends.
- Prepares and delivers reports to operational leadership outlining progress toward meeting annual goals and objectives in area of responsibility.
- Organizes and prioritizes time resources and budget to manage efficiency. Appropriately delegates.
- Proficient in editing digital videos and photography or directing vendors.
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate the SAC Health and SAC Health Foundation s core mission vision and values to the public patients donors and community partners.
- Writing and reporting techniques for various media formats. Appropriately delegates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Public Administration Public Relations Journalism Communications Marketing or a closely related field required.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid California drivers license and auto insurance.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in marketing or public relations managerial roles required. Experience working with a health plan and/or FQHC event planning and management content management system (CMS) knowledge preferred.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Strong understanding of all social media channels exceptional marketing strategy skills thorough knowledge of current industry trends established media relationships
- Interpersonal Skills: Great leadership abilities superb communication and relationshipbuilding skills firstclass written and spoken communication Impressive publicspeaking skills budget management skills.
- Essential Mental Abilities: Ability to analyze data ability to use resources to generate data; ability to understand the issues of community clinics and what it takes for clinics to start up and be successful within the community it serves; must be able to adjust based on new information and data; ability to run create and analyze reports.
