WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
At SimCorp we facilitate the streamlining of investments accounting and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems processes and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of highquality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients business consultants are essential to us.
In the role of Lead Business Consultant specializing in ABOR (Accounting Book Of Records) your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients projects.
You will normally be working fulltime on implementation projects which require your special expertise in the ABOR area and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream.
You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectively monitor coordinate and escalate issues as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects: You know the customers requirements and processes related to Investment Accounting at banks asset managers and insurers and outline solutions for optimal use ofSimCorp Dimension
Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success
Gain understanding of Simcorps Global Standard Solutions and utilize them for project delivery
Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension
Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job
Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects
Contribute in knowhow exchange with colleagues on an international level
WHAT WE VALUE

Previous experienceas an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers asset owners banks or consulting firms
Advanced expertise in at least two of the following areas: investment accounting general ledger or fund accounting
Our candidates will have experience in one or more of the following fields:
Asset Management Operational Accounting or Financial Reporting
Consulting or Professional Services within the Treasury or Asset Management sector
An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software
Asset Management candidates should have 57 years of experience working directly with the investment accounting or reporting function and related enterprise applications
Consultants should have experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side and hands on experience with applications similar to Simcorp Dimension
Experience with Trade processing including confirmation and/or trade settlement processes and solutions
Degree within Business discipline (Accounting Finance or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred
CPA CA or equivalent is an asset
Detailoriented professional with a cando mindset
Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time
Have effective communication skills and proficiency in English both oral and written
Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting
Practical experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus
Ability to travel to clients site (up to 50%)
