Schedule: 11am3pm or 4pm8pm will include weekends.
Assist residents with meal selections based on dietary needs and preferences.
Collaborate with healthcare and therapy staff to support individualized nutrition plans.
Interpret and follow nutrition prescriptions and residentspecific diet modifications.
Prepare and serve meals including consistencymodified diets (e.g. pureed ground).
Set up dining rooms and ensure a clean welcoming environment.
Properly handle and store food items ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain kitchen organization cleanliness and inventory using the First In/First Out (FIFO) method.
Operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow infection control policies and regulatory standards at all times.
Support the Nutrition Care Manager and Dining Services leadership with additional tasks as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred.
Strong communication skills and a residentfirst attitude.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with attention to detail.
Understanding of dietary needs food safety and infection control practices.
