As the Instructional Systems Designer you will you will be responsible for the planning and analysis of learningcourseware design. The ISD shapes the creation and support of a wide variety of learning solutions ensuring the delivery of a solid learning experience based on learner needs and desired learning objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Applying the analysis design development implementation and evaluation (ADDIE) model to design develop and implement learning and development programs curriculums and courseware.
- Designing building and implementing classroom online and blended offerings.
- Developing measurable learning and performance objectives that address necessary skill or performance attainment and appropriate Blooms taxonomy level.
- Identifying appropriate measurement criteria and instructional design strategies.
- Providing input and guidance for the development of course content and highquality polished creative and visually attractive learning materials instructional products and content system requirements using proven instructional design principles and researchbased learning theory. Examples include storyboards scripts interactive products realistic scenarios to use in simulations supporting material/media and engaging learning activities.
- Ensuring training products and services are aligned with professional learning standards
- Ensuring proper functionality of courseware to support customer needs and contract requirements..
- Managing project timelines in coordination with team members subject matter experts and external vendors or consultants.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Technical Communication Adult Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and strategies.
- Proven experience developing both instructorled training (ILT) and computerbased training (CBT).
- Proficiency in Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in creating formative/summative assessments including exam questions and performancebased rubrics.
- Solid knowledge of instructional design models task and performance analysis methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in regulated industries or with U.S. government agencies.
- Background in leading creative or crossfunctional teams.
- Familiarity with Adobe Captivate HTML and video editing tools.

- You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- You possess professional and effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- You take a proactive approach to your work and youre able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision.
- You have demonstrated critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Your organizational skills allow you to manage competing priorities.

Security Clearance Requirement:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance preferred.
