The Alaska Club is currently hiring Camp Counselors for our Fairbanks South location. We are a statewide network of fitness clubs offering stateoftheart facilities for all things fitness. We offer camp programs throughout the year for kids ages 512.
The role of Camp Counselor is a fun and dynamic position that offers a great team environment and flexible work schedule. Our Camp counselors foster a fun environment for kids by facilitating a variety of activities to keep kids active and stimulated. Join our team and help develop your leadership and teaching skills.
This is a great opportunity for students or parents seeking parttime work. Potential opportunity for additional hours as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard.

Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to multitask and lead group activities (arts & crafts sports games etc)
- Prior camp experience (preferred)
Working Conditions:
- Supervising and accounting for kids ages 512
- Ensuring the safety of all camp kids
- Supporting fellow Camp Counselors and cooperating as a team
- Standing and moving to facilitate activities
