Under the direction of a member of the IS management team performs assigned entry level IS tasks consistent with the educational course work of either a graduate or undergraduate student working towards a degree in computerrelated field.

• As part of the work experience in Information Systems the Trainee gains an understanding and assists Information Systems staff in installing maintaining upgrading and decommissioning network hardware and software. * Also may include: * Desktop computers and their maintenance * Networks and their maintenance * Server configuration and maintenance * Network/Server monitoring methods and tools * Service Desk operations and management * Application development and maintenance
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Maintains the customer service standards of the department and Versiti.
• Communicates clearly and respectfully with customers donors and colleagues sharing all necessary information.
• Works effectively with team members contributing to team efforts.

Education

• High School graduate currently pursuing a degree in a computerrelated field. required

Experience

• No previous work experience is required but a variety of computer/PC experience preferred
