Your work environment

Within Operations the Reinsurance Accounting & Administration department is organized into 2 geographical and one crossfunctional divisions. Each geographical division is responsible for the administrative accounting and financial management of its areas P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios.

Your objectives

• Ensure all administrative accounting and financial operations related to the management of reinsurance portfolios in compliance with procedures and deadlines
• Contact for accounting and financial matters related to reinsurance portfolios of his/her scope

Your missions

• Process contractual data into the accounting system
• Monitor verify and process reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies in the dedicated IT system
• Ensure consistency and conformity with the contractual terms and condition
• Set up and send (retro)cession reinsurance accounts to the reinsurers/brokers
• Ensure the management of settlements and the financial followup of third parties
• Actively participate in department projects particularly those related to the evolution and enhancement of reinsurance accounting and data exchanges tools (writing specifications testing users training)

Your profile

• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts and 34 years of experience in an insurance/ reinsurance technical accounting department
• Computer literate and good level in managing data in computer systems
• Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems and make decision
• Writing skills
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Autonomy thoroughness proactivity good communication skills
