President Abraham Lincoln Springfield a DoubleTree by Hilton

Enjoy hearty Midwestern fare at Lindsays Restaurant. Visit The Globe Tavern to enjoy handcrafted specialty drinks premium draft beers and live sports. We are hiring a Host/ Hostess (PartTime) for our AM shifts.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
What will I be doing
As a Host/Hostess you would be responsible for greeting and seating restaurant guests; assists in guest service and experience in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet and acknowledge guests upon checkin/checkout from dining outlet
- Accurately total process and collect payments from guests to include but not limited to using the pointofsale system handling money processing credit and debit cards making change and processing gift certificates coupon and discount redemption loyalty rewards and gift cards
- Ascertain guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns enlisting the assistance of a supervisor if necessary
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Occasionally will assist serving staff with starting beverage orders running food clearing tables etc. to expedite the guest experience in times of high volume
- Will answer calls to dining outlet for pickup and/or room delivery orders; will enter orders package items and facilitate the delivery to the guest room or in person at guest pickup at the outlet
