Pay range:
$48.83 $73.34**$15000 signon bonus for experienced candidates**
Schedule:PartTime (30 hours per biweekly pay period).Three 10hour day shifts per week. Includes call shifts for urgent cases covering off hours (overnight & weekend).
Overlake is currently seeking aCardiovascular/Angio Technologist IIto assist Cardiologists Radiologists in the various diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Catheterization Laboratory Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Device Lab. Angio Tech Level II includes required competencies in Interventional Neuro Complex Coronary Therapeutics or Structural Heart procedures. Their mission is to provide exceptional patient care as well as scrubbing circulating and monitoring during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills and preferred Cath lab experience who has the ability to multitask stay organized and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner. Invasive Cardiovascular/ Vascular Services provides care for patients having angiograms with or without stent placement (cardiac cerebral vascular). The technologist will also care for patients who have pacemaker or defibrillator implants. In addition care is provided in IR for noncardiac patients such as nephrostomies vertebral augmentation and port placement.
The procedural area has 6 rooms and operates MondayFriday between 0600 and 1730. All shifts are 10 hours. After hours and weekends are covered by the call team.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of previous cardiac cath lab interventional radiology or neuro interventional experience is required.
- Skills validation and signoff for Neuro Interventional Structural Heart and/or Complex Coronary Therapeutics will be required prior to advancement to Cardiovascular/Angio Technologist II.
- AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program required.
- ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) requiredORRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) is required. If registry eligible must obtain applicable registration within ninety days of hire.
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required upon hire.
- Current ACLS is also required.
- 24 CME credits required biannually.
- Mandatory AIDS education.
