A worldrenowned design studio specializing in highend residential projects across the globe is seeking a talented MidWeight/Senior FF&E Designer. About the Role:
This studio is seeking a highly talented and experienced MidWeight/Senior FF&E Designer to join their dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in supporting senior designers in delivering highend residential projects focusing specifically on FF&E (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of luxury design principles excellent technical skills and a proven track record in FF&E specification and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting senior designers in the FF&E selection and specification process for multiple highend residential projects.
- Developing and presenting FF&E proposals including mood boards product specifications and budget breakdowns.
- Collaborating with clients and the design team to understand FF&E needs and preferences translating these into bespoke and functional solutions.
- Sourcing and specifying FF&E ensuring adherence to budget and project timelines.
- Managing the FF&E procurement process including obtaining quotes placing orders and tracking deliveries.
- Liaising with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Maintaining and updating the FF&E library and database.
- Conducting site visits to monitor FF&E installations and ensure quality control.
- Staying abreast of current design trends materials and technologies related to FF&E.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations and other projectrelated materials.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Interior Design or a related field.
- 38 years of experience in highend residential interior design with a focus on FF&E.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a refined aesthetic and a deep understanding of luxury design principles particularly in FF&E.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp or other relevant design software is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of FF&E sourcing and procurement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts related to FF&E.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A collaborative and teamoriented approach is essential.
- A passion for luxury design and a commitment to excellence are essential.
