Job Title: Associate Professor of Criminology Parttime

Department: Criminology

Location: Lynchburg VA

Job Type: Regular PartTime

The University of Lynchburg a private regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia is seeking applicants for regular parttime nontenure track position in the Department of Criminology for theacademic year in the School of Professional and Applied Sciences. Salary rank and tenure track status correspond to experience and educational credentials.

Required Qualifications/Education:

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in criminology and will be expected to teach research methods as well as quantitative methods. A background in law enforcement is preferred as well as PhD in criminology or a masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in criminology.
  • Teaching experience as either an instructor or teaching assistant.
