The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse in Kansas City MO. This position is responsible for receiving storing and distributing products and materials which directly impacts our supply chain and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with team members to maintain an organized and safe work environment. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize errors and accidents. Ultimately the Warehouse Associate contributes to the overall success of the company by ensuring that products are handled and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
Prepare and package orders for shipment ensuring all items are accounted for.
Maintain inventory records and assist with regular stock counts.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Skills:
The required skills for this position include physical stamina and attention to detail which are essential for efficiently handling and organizing products. Basic computer skills will be utilized daily to update inventory records and track shipments. Preferred skills such as having a Class E drivers license will enhance the candidates ability to assist with deliveries when necessary. Experience in a warehouse setting will allow the candidate to quickly adapt to our processes and contribute to team efficiency. Overall a combination of these skills will ensure that the Warehouse Associate can effectively support the operations of the warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Class E drivers license.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
