We have a client in Oak Grove Oregon that is in need of a Buyer to handle their materials procurement needs as an equipment manufacturer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested please click Apply Now.
In this role you will be sourcing parts metals welding supplies paint and some plastics for their manufacturing needs. This will involve managing the supply chain of their materials including outsourcing further processing such as heat treatment and outsourcing some machining.
You will be working with existing vendors as well as sourcing new vendors for their supply needs working with Syspro to handle their purchase orders and managing their inventory of parts and materials for their manufacturing needs.
This role is inoffice at their Oak Grove location. This position is offered on a Temporary basis with Permanent conversion at 6 months for the right candidate
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience
- Associates/Bachelors in a related subject or technical background ideal
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Experience with manufacturing purchasing responsibilities
Pay: $30 $40 / hr depending on Experience and Qualifications
