Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations Danbury Hospital New Milford Hospital Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut and Northern Dutchess Hospital Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction of the Director of Pharmacy the Clinical Hem/Oncology Pharmacist provides services to physicians and nurses in hematology and oncology patient care units as well as to pharmacy and other healthcare personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Masters Degree in Accredited School of Pharmacy.
2. Minimum of 3 (three) years oncology pharmacy experience or oncology pharmacy residency.
3. Must possess a New York State Pharmacy License
4. Oncology Board Certification or Board eligible
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
