We make excess & surplus lines easy easy for our distribution partners easy for the businesses they represent and easy to navigate. The lines of coverage we underwrite include general liability property and excess liability. Our model is different than our competitors we do the premium billing and do not add interest/ finance percentage we offer enhanced commissions and we handle the stamping affidavit filings and other behindthescenes paperwork.

Responsibilities

We are looking to add an inspired content creator and story teller to our insurance marketing & communications team. You will be a listener researcher and natural collaborator.

Your skill set will be overweighted to digital marketing but may also include copy writing/editing graphic design video production public relations photography or podcasting. Experience creating content for corporate web sites or social media sites is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Create dynamic content to be distributed across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Collaborate with business owners and subject matter experts to identify target audiences and messages that resonate.
  • Track results.
  • Work with other members of the creative team.
  • Be mindful of deadlines and budgets.
  • Be brand conscious and disciplined.
  • Recommend new and different ways to tell our story.
  • Partner with underwriters/creative teams across the enterprise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in journalism marketing or communications preferred but not required.
  • 25 years experience working with a content team whether an agency content studio or corporate setting.
  • Handson experience utilizing creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud Canva etc.) and creating different types of content for corresponding platforms.
  • Art direction and graphic design experience.
  • Skilled in writing storytelling image selection/editing maintaining web sites generating engaging content for social media sites podcasting anything else thats cool.
  • Insurance industry knowledge gained through formal study earned designations and/or work experience.
  • Looking for intellectually curious individuals who think creatively and connect dots.
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas to team and accept feedback willingly.
  • Willing and effective collaborator team player.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Microsoft suite Canva email marketing clients (Mailchimp).
  • Receptivity to new ideas and willingness to pivot.
  • Ability to make us laugh gasp hit replay and ask Howd you think of that

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the scope complexity and location of the role; the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Specific vision abilities required by this job typically includes close vision occasional use of depth perception and infrequent need for distance vision color vision and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Most functions of this position are completed while sitting at ones desk and working on a computer.
