Job Description
For 50 years BETA Fueling Systems in Reidsville NC has led the aviation industry in the manufacture of reliable and safe refueling equipment. Everything we do is focused on improving the reliability after sales support and ontime delivery of equipment. To apply please visit Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. The Welder will use handwelding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes indentations or seams of fabricated metal products to include but not limited to pressure vessels pipes frames and brackets. Our Welders work in a team environment. Work hours are Monday Friday 7:00am3:30pm with overtime required at times and occasional Saturday.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 35 years welding experience MIT/TIG aluminum required or postsecondary certificate in welding
- Certification to AWS weld qualification (D1.1 D1.2 D1.3 etc...) highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of arithmetic and fractions is a must
- Ability to utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures squares protractors (digital & bubble) etc. to effectively set up and process weldments to engineering drawing dimensional requirements along with properly documenting dimensional measurements to ensure conformance
- General knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance
- Familiar with industrial safety environment and use of common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes welding helmet safety glasses gloves hearing protection and hard hats (Beta will provide or reimburse)
- Physical Requirements using hands to handle control or feel objects and tools ability to read written instructions lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds independently
